Abstract:
A wounded soldier receives medical attention. His is on a stretcher. There are three men hunched over him with three others standing back and watching. A jeep is nearby and several soldiers are in the background, near trees. The patient has an IV line in his arm, attached to a bottle hung on a pole next to him. According to the photo caption, this is a first aid station near Ormoc, Layte, P.I.
