Abstract:
Dr. Donald S. Fredrickson, the speaker for the Jimenez-Diaz lecture and award, is seated next to the podium as Dr. Carlos Rabago introduces him. Dr. Francisco Vivanco is seated next to Dr. Fredrickson. Three other men are seated behind a long desk-like table. Behind the men is a movie screen in front of a blackboard. There are two ash trays and six name plates on the table. Also on the table are two trays each with a water pitcher, a bottle, and drinking glasses. There is a plaque above Dr. Fredrickson's chair honoring D. Carlos Jimenez Diaz with the dates 1966-1968 engraved. Behind the podium is a blackboard on a stand.
