A group of mostly men are seated at two tables raising their glasses at the Bethesda home of Dr. Donald S. Fredrickson. Standing at the head of the table are Dr. Robert W. Berliner and Mrs. Henriette Fredrickson with arms intertwined holding drinking glasses. On the table are plates of food, candles, and center pieces. There is a book case and a chest on one wall of the room. Opposite this wall is a large window sill with pictures and a serving dish. Perpendicular to this wall is a mantel holding knick-knacks. Hanging on the wall above the mantel are decorative plates and a mirror.
