Abstract:
Advertisement for Ayer's Cherry Pectoral. Statement on verso claims the medication, "strengthens weak lungs, allays pulmonary irritation, and affords the most effectual relief for whooping cough and consumption in its advanced stages." Card features two children, both near a bottle of Ayer's Cherry Pectoral. One child is sitting next to the bottle touching it with her right hand. The other child is reaching up to the top of the bottle with a spoon.
