Dominant image on poster is a reproduction of Georges Chicotot's "The First Attempt to Treat Cancer with X-Rays by Doctor Chicotot" (1907). A woman is lying supine on a white bed, covered from the waist down with a white blanket. A glass cylinder rests atop her exposed breast. The cylinder is part of a large machine that stands behind the woman, with several monitors and tubes visible. In the foreground, a doctor stands by the woman's bedside, holding a tube from the machine and staring at his watch. He is dressed in a long white gown and a black top hat.
