World Health shows something of the life of Isreal, a busy thriving country on the eatern shore of the Mediterranean. Industry is rapidly transfoming isreal and throughout the country the wheels of production are turning. Isreal produces cement, textiles, phosphates, tyres, paper, plastics, ceramics, chocolate, glassware, precision instruments, and electric goods including refrigerators and radios. Potash, bromine and other salts are extracted from the Dead Sea. Oil is refined at Haifa. Cars are assembled. In the Neguev dessert oil is obtained from the wells at heletz.
