Abstract:
A health worker collates information extracted from a card containing the medical history of patient. Verso: Blood samples to help the planners. One of the conerns of the World Health Organization was the provalence of yaws, a non veneral disease related to syphilis. In the early 1950s, control programs were started. By 1965, 150 million people has been examined and 45 million treated with penicillin in the yaws endemic zones. WHO/12598.
