Professor Parisot is playing a game with several children, who are all wearing uniforms, at the Child Rehabilitation Centre of Flavigny. Verso: WHO/10472 France- Medical Services. Doctors in France. In a special issue World Health presents seven leading figures of French medicine: a paediatrician, a public health specialist, a cancer speacialist, a psychiatrist, a surgeon, a urologist, and a heart specialist. They are all reprentatives of the great humanist tradition of French medicine, which has led France doctors to play a full part in the life of their times and to give the individual huam being pride of place in the practice of medicine. Our photo shown Professor Jacques Parisot, a pioneer of social medicine and of international health co-operation, at the Child Rehabilitation Centre of Flavigny near Nancy.
