Abstract:
A photograph of chromosomes is being cut up and the pairs sorted and arranged for comparison in a search for abnormalities that may provide a link to the development of leukemia. Verso: Blood: Leukaemia and chromosomes. Our photo shows a phatograph of chromosomes being cut up for sorting. The cell with the chromosmes came from a leukaemia patient. Scientists think that an abnormal chromosome pattern may have something to do with the onset of some types of leukaemia.
