Case studies in Egypt and Tunisia demonstrate successful household delivery of oral contraceptives Leaders in these two countries explain how direct household distribution programs have been launched. From these case studies and other pilot projects, certain "fundamental truths" are derived--that oral contraceptives can be effectively distributed through home visits; that having the pills "in one's hand" is most persuasive to the target audience; that such contraceptives are perceived as valuable; and that household delivery has resulted in increased acceptance among rural women.
