Projected against sequences of the changing seasons, this film tells the story of human reproduction as an integral part of the universal pattern of nature. The conception and birth of a baby to a young farm couple is used to illustrate the basic facts of human reproduction and reproductive anatomy, and to explain that childbearing is an emotional and spiritual experience as well as a physical one. The film contains live action and animation.
