The radiobiological Institute on Rijsmwijk ( Netherlands), one of the biggest aninal reserves for scientific research in Europe, keeps many monkeys for transplanation research. An experimental bone marrow transplant is in progress. The purpose of this work is to investigate immunological deficiency diseases in children. Several successful bone marrow transplants have been preformed in humans.
